Evidence and scope
The report was read on October 19, 2026. It establishes a named task and region, not an exact NPC map pin or a tested walking route. Community lists are incomplete; missing from the Grove Characters table does not mean Marcus does not exist.
Find the right objective
Look for The Pile in the Cavern section of the Quest Log after speaking to Marcus. Keep the requested Fungstones instead of selling them and use the current tracker to confirm the quantity.
The report names twenty Fungstones. It does not establish the reward, unlock level, or exact position in the caverns. Follow the live objective rather than a fabricated coordinate.
Do not confuse Marcus with Marina. Marina’s New Ground delivery is a separate reported Fungstone task.
